When it comes to large-scale audiovisual integrations, Ronco has the know-how. Earlier this year, we proudly wrapped up a project at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center. In fact, Governor Andrew Cuomo's 2020 State of the State Address was the first conference held using the new technology. Partnered with Bose Corporation, HARMAN Professional Solutions, Crestron Electronics, Shure, Biamp and Legrand, we were able to update this important facility's audiovisual technology.
Our teams equipped seven meeting rooms and one convention hall with industry-leading technology to empower truly transformative collaboration experiences. Each room features Crestron's processors for room control and Dante audio networking for seamless distribution, ultimately enabling these rooms to be used separately or grouped together to accommodate overflow for large events. With the push of a button, event staff can send audio to any or all of the rooms. With 60 locations to plug-and-play Dante I/O boxes, staff can use the solution where and when they need it. For example, this set up is ideal for press feed when local and national news is recording. Paired with professional loudspeakers that provide best-in-class coverage control, sound quality and vocal clarity, these audio integrations deliver a consistent experience throughout the facility.
Great job to our Albany team who made this new system happen: Scott Hall, CTS-D-I, Gary Morelli (programmer and installer), Chris Thompson, Dave Daigle, Dan Hayes, Cherie Annonsen, and Kyle Moore. Recognizining that this was an incredibly large installation, we'd like to give credit to all Ronco employees that assisted in this feat.
Shoutout to our partners John Stack and Joe Douillard with Bose Professional, Diane Montes Harris with Crestron, and Bill Starring with Harman for the support on this project. A big thank you goes out to Steven Mohan and the team at DLC ELECTRIC for the installation support on this project - from installing the field hardware to connecting the power.
Our mission in the audiovisual space is to empower better performances. We look forward to continuing our work in the Capital District and the greater Albany Area!
